Camp Brodský

Reconstruction of a popular swimming pool and car camp is a surprising challenge for an architect. Only a personal visit revealed not only the attractiveness of the place, but also its problems and reserves. In our design there is a generously reconstructed restaurant with a lounge, new sanitary facilities, a newly established self-service kiosk / shop building and professionally designed main attractions for visitors of different ages: boat rental, rope playground, mini zoo, 3-4 playgrounds for ball games even small sanitary points in the area of the complex. The new plots are shaded by a pine grove with meadows, which are flattened in the individual terraces and equipped with a drinking fountain and a fireplace. Groups of cottages (relocated existing and new) and positions for caravans are "randomly" placed in the forest. We propose to compose the landscape as a cosily wooded space transparent to the human horizon.
